authentic.DFDC ™ is an authentication service, marketplace and database of all known collectibles, everything from mundane pamphlets to one-off personal items like Fry’s personal biography.
This website provides four services:
- Authentication – Send us your item and for a fee, we will authenticate it as a genuine (or fake) Daniel Fry collectible. With the authentic.DFDC(tm) approval, your collectible will appreciate significantly in price and can be listed for sale on this website.
- Database – A listing of all known Fry collectibles and their status, Private collection, For Sale, Stolen, and other details like the last known price, etc.
- (Closed Beta) Sale – A market place to sell and buy authentic Fry collectibles.
- (Closed Beta) Ethernet Token and Escrow (ETE) service – For a nominal setup fee, you send us your book, we authenticate it, generate a unique token for it via a smart contract on the Etherum block chain. Then for a yearly maintence fee, we will store your book in our secure, monitored, temperature and humidity controlled storage facility.
- You are then free to sell the token to the highest bidder using our preferred Ethernet token exchange and the book never has to switch hands. Anytime you want the book, you prove that you hold the token via a mechanism provided by the smart contract and we send you the book.
A membership can also be purchased which gives you access to quarterly newsletters, higher resolution pictures and discounts.
Our authentication agents have access to the largest private collection of Daniel Fry material on the planet and use that collection to spot fakes.
